I have been having the most irritating problem, and I'm sure it's a dumb fix.
When recoding anything into Logic Pro X through my mic, the monitoring volume is very low while recording. Also, I cannot adjust the volume of the track being recorded while it is being recorded with my fader. The only thing that affects volume is turning up the interface (apollo twin) which isn't an option. When I stop recording and hit play, the volume is back to a normal level. My current solution is to turn all the tracks way down... since turning the vocal up only has an effect on playback.
Does anyone have any advice. And just for clarity...
1) I do not turn on the orange 'I'... I can and that seems to solve it, but most of the time I end up getting a ton of latency. Really that shouldn't be necessary anyhow.
2) In my setting software monitoring is checked
