- The BC5.x drivers are still downloadable from Install Windows 7 on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support, which support W7/W8.1. BC5.x drivers do not support releases older than W7, which would require BC4 or BC3 drivers.
- BTW, the Apple keyboard drivers, unlike the Apple Thunderbolt Display drivers, can be installed just by running: BootCamp Drivers Apple AppleKeyboardInstaller64.exe I guess on non-Apple keyboards, you can control the brightness by hitting fn+f1 and fn+f2.
You’re stepping into the realm of the unsupported, so you’re at your own risk here. What you can try is: get the download you think you want; open it with 7-zip; Now instead of running the installer, open the Folder that contains the individual driver installers. Run each of those. Memorex expressit label maker software. Turn macbook on. If it doesn’t work, you can uninstall from the Windows Control Panel and try again with the drivers Apple said you should use. My model isn’t listed on that Apple page. Apple Display Drivers Windows 10
Hi all..just purchased a July 2011 Macbook Air 13'.
In order to run a few 'windows only' programs, I have installed Windows 7 Pro under Bootcamp.
Display drivers are nonexistent and it defaults to not only a lower resolution, but one that is not widescreen (so image on screen is distorted).
Is there a driver that can be used to solve this issue? I tried downloading from Intel, and I get a 'minimum system requirements not met' error when attempting to install.
Please..any help is GREATLY appreciated! I have one more week to decide if I will keep this computer, and it is critical that I get the screen resolution (or at least a proper resolution ratio) on the Windows 7 side.
Thanks in advance!
